Matlou Cate Madibana was born on the 04 of April 1988 at Dithabaneng village (Ga-Malebogo) near Senwabarwana. She was raised in the family of 8 children by her mother Molelekwa Christina Madibana and Matsebe Alpheus Madibana as her Step Father. She is the fourth kid but the last daughter in her family.

She went to Monyebodi Primary School in 1994-2000 and further her secondary education at Mahlase Senior Secondary School from 2001-2006. When she was in Grade 11, she was chosen to represents her school at Masifunde Sonke Competition (That was a competition involving all schools that falls under Malebogo Central). We were competing in reading first, second and Third languages, poems, and so forth. She was selected to read Sepedi. Fortunately, she represented her school very well for obtaining position one.

In 2008, she enrolled at the University of Limpopo to study a BA Degree in Media Studies and completed it at the right record; 2010. She was a Mentor and Deputy Senior Mentor for the school of Languages and Communication Studies. She was well focused on her studies and this was proven when she got Best Student Awards in the school of Languages and Communication Studies. She obtained first position in Sepedi 101 and second position in Media 201.

She broadcasted her first show on the 31^st of August 2010 at Radio Turf. This happened after she impressed her lecturer/ Radio Turf programme’s manager, Mr Madikana Matjila when she was doing radio practical. She did a Sport show (Tša Dipapadi) with her co-presenter, Stan Masenya. She was sometimes doing a children’s show, Mahlasedi that came only on Saturday.

In June 2011, God blessed her and started working for the national radio station, Thobela FM. Her duty is to present/produce Educational shows: Ntlhahle ke go hlahle, Mahlale Pepeneneng and Youth Ke Yona. She is now a new sports presenter known as PSL Sekunjalo.

She is now studying a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at University of South Africa (UNISA).
