H.O.DI Tsamago Profile

Hodi Tsamago who is commonly known as H.O.Di from all his followers and colleagues grew up in Ga-Molepo, Ga-Mankgatleng/Marobo. He went to Mothapo Primary school where he started his long journey in education. He completed his Matric at Tshebela high school before he got a bursary to study education at MASTEC. His love for sport started as a 5 year old kid after his uncle bought him a soccer ball, he played soccer and he also participated in athletics, karate, chess to mention but a few. He also had an undying zeal for radio presen ting, he then joined Mohodi community radio after a series of unsuccessful attempts with other community radio stations.

He joined SABC Sport/Thobela FM in 2010 prior to FIFA world cup South Africa where he worked as a studio continuity presenter. After hard work and dedication to his work, he was then given an opportunity to do radio commentary, since then he never looked back. He has featured in world class competitions like 2012 Africa cup of Nations South Africa, 2013 Chan tournament in South Africa and 2014 FIFA world cup Brazil. Apart from being a dedicated sport presenter/commentator for Thobela FM, he is also working as a Mathematics and Physical Sciences teacher and he has inspired many learners at different schools where he also do motivational talks to school kids. His ambitions for education saw him reaching Masters level in Science education. Due to his poor background as a kid he has adopted some learners from few schools in Capricorn district where he mentors and supports them with their school needs. For Hodi the sky is the limit and future is on the horizon.
