The legendary Thobela fm presenter Max “The Mixer” Thamagana Mojapelo is set to make history with the publication of his book titled Never Say Never. The presenter of Thobela fm’s midday show Di sa Fisha, has enlisted the assistance of heritage activist, author and academic Dr. Tlou Setumu, who wrote this book which is launching Friday September 16, 2016 in Studio 9c at 18:00.

The narrative of Max’s biography centres on the  story of a young village boy whose wish to speak on radio was realized beyond his wildest dreams. The launch of the book  couldn’t have come at a better time, taking into consideration the fact that September is heritage month.

Thobela fm Station Manager Ms. Mosh Matsena said, “As a public broadcaster, Thobela FM has a huge responsibility to promote local talent and also celebrate legends while they are still alive. Ntate Max is a real legend, and we hope his book will give hope and encourage young people to want to walk along his footsteps”.
