The day was filled with so much joy, excitement and entertainment. The dependants had an opportunity to interact with Thobela FM on air personalities as we celebrate our Icon – Tata Madiba said the Station Manager, Ms Mosh Matsena. APD CEO, Ms Christa Van Der Walt thanked Thobela FM for caring and creating a memorable day to the disabled.
Later in the evening on the 18th July 2018 the station supported Thobela FM Current Affairs team “Hlokwa La Tsela” during the youth employment and placement debate which took place at Onkgopotse Tiro Hall at University of Limpopo. The event was met with great numbers of people which was a great indication of lack of youth unemployment in the country. Various companies in and around Limpopo where invited to listen to the debate. A total of 61 graduates were hired on the spots by invited companies which gives Thobela FM and Current Affairs management a great satisfactory of great achievement said Thobela FM Station Manager, Ms Mosh Matsena and Executive Producer, Mr Sam Mochichila.
The station intends to continue to honor Tata Madiba by living his legacy throughout the month of July. On the 20th July Thobela FM together with Kimmotive (NGO) will donate sanitary towels, toiletries, food parcels and motivate youth to continue to live Tata’s legacy, said Thobela FM Station Manager – Ms. Mosh Matsena.
