| | Sales is selling, which means to get someone to buy your service, you need to sell it and convince them that it is the right thing to buy, whereas Marketing involves making people understand what you do and get to use your products and service |

| 3. | What qualifications do I need to become a presenter? |
| | Knowledge of languages, be able to speak eloquently. To become a presenter, one needs to have at least matric certificate and/ or a B degree in journalism, languages, or related |

| 4. | Do I have to pay to put an announcement on your station? |
| | No, to put an announcement on our station you don’t have to pay. But the announcement will be read only once. If one wants an announcement to be played more than once a day, is then when you have to pay. It does not qualify as an announcement, but an advertisement |

| 5. | What criteria do you use to decide on how frequent you should play each advert? |
| | It depends on the advertiser. If you want your advert to be played more frequently, you will have to pay more. Fees are guided by our rate card which is obtainable from our Airtime sales division |

| 6. | What should I do if I want Thobela fm to utilize my services during events? |
| | First you need to register as a supplier on our database. You will be asked to fill in a form and provide us with your company profile. The Marketing department can also ask you to come and do a presentation personally. All this information is obtainable from the Marketing Department on (015) 290 0230. |
